PTA 100 Club

With your help, St James’ PTA raises significant funds for our children. This money helps to fund multiple projects along with an annual classroom allowance of £500 per class for items outside the school's budget.

Over the years, the PTA has funded several projects, including:

  • an upgrade of the school’s internet

  • new desks and chairs for KS2

  • improvements to the outside classroom

  • new computers for the ICT room

  • new playground apparatus

  • table tennis tables

  • robots to help the children with coding

  • new equipment for the KS1 kitchen

  • the painting of classrooms

  • new parasols

Like many charities, we have found a 100 club to be a popular way of raising funds while providing cash prizes for lucky winners. By joining, you can help to enhance your child’s experience at St James’ while having a chance to win a cash prize each month!

What is the 100 Club?

The 100 Club is essentially a private lottery.

How does it work?

Each member pays a monthly subscription of just £1 per number to enter a monthly draw.

If your number is chosen, you are that month’s winner!

The prize money is £50 per month if our number of subscriptions is high enough! (If subscriptions are very low we may not be able to guarantee the £50 each month) After the prize money is allocated to the lucky winner, the remainder of funds will be used to help fund school projects, events etc, enhancing the children’s experience at St James’ (everyone is a winner!). The more people buying a subscription, the better it is for the prize pot and the school!

Who can join?

The Club is open to all parents, grandparents, staff, alumni and friends of St James’ school aged 16 or over. Members are asked to pay their subscriptions annually in advance by bank transfer.
