Year 4

yr4Class teacher Mr Parr

Year 4 continue to be inspired by ‘The Power of Reading’ and are encouraged to read more widely and develop inference, deduction, problem solving and reasoning skills still further. They continue to use concrete apparatus for maths. It is expected that they will know all of their tables by the end of this year. They check and edit their work independently. They are Y5 ready when they are secure in the Y4 curriculum. They are given an exciting broad and balanced curriculum.
