St. James' was last inspected by OFSTED in the Autumn of 2007. The judgement awarded was 'Outstanding'. St. James' converted to a stand alone Academy in April 2012, therefore the OFSTED report from 2007 is not accessible. Since 2007, St. James' has had termly external reviews and government checks that endorse the school as remaining 'outstanding', including a full section 48 inspection in 2018.
